Welcome to Yoga Seasons!
I am a yoga teacher based in Surrey, specialising in Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. I instruct all levels from complete beginners to other teachers through classes, workshops, courses and private sessions.
I am a strong believer that anyone can do yoga. It is just a case of finding the right teachers, styles and starting point for you.
Yoga is probably most widely known as a set of stretches to help improve flexibility but it is so much more than that. It is true that a physical yoga practice can improve flexibility, range of movement and strength but yoga is really about the mind. A regular yoga practice helps to slow down the fluctuations of the mind and find a sense of calm within. I think that one of the most important ways of finding ease within ourselves is by trying to align ourselves to the seasons of the year. Unfortunately, modern life doesn't make this easy so I often integrate this sense of seasonal energy into my classes or workshops so we can reconnect to the nature within us. Living out of synch with natural rhythms can often make us feel out of sorts, even if we're not sure why. We Are Nature!
